1. South Australia Business Innovation and Investment Program Update
Due to high demand and the limited interim allocation of 70 nomination places that South Australia has received from the Commonwealth Government Department of Home Affairs, Skilled & Business Migration is taking the following measures:
- Business Innovation stream (188A): Intention to Apply (ITA) process remains open
- Investor stream (188B): Temporarily closed to new applicants
- Significant Investor stream (188C): Temporarily closed to new applicants
- Entrepreneur stream (188E): Remains open with very limited places, you must first contact a Service Provider
The Government of South Australia continues to work with the Commonwealth Government to secure a further allocation of places for the program.

Australia had approximately 4316 motor mechanic jobs available between June and August 2022. It’s the 6th most sought-after job according to the list of top 20 in-demand jobs in Australia.

In the period June to August 2022, 4244 job openings were posted for retail managers. It ranks on 7th in the top 20 highly demanding occupations in Australia.

- General Practitioners and Resident Medical Officers
General Practitioners and Resident Medical Officers were the 15th most in demand professions. In the 3 months between June, July and August 2022, 2306 job advertisements were posted.

The 16th most vacant profession was pre-primary school teachers. It is important to note that the nature of this profession differs from that of an early childhood educator.
